How Did the Event Change the Way of Life?
This revolution helped create the idea of agriculture for the early humans. Because of this, people were able to farm instead of hunt and gather for their food. People were able to settle down and live in one place and still have the accessibility to food. This led settlements and development of group living. When living in a more complex social situation, this led to a better and more complicated forms of communication. This led to the idea of having a government and dividing the work. Food surpluses occurred from agriculture and thus a major population growth and trade. Agriculture also led to recreational activity because less time was needed to get the necessary amount of food.
Benefits and Drawbacks of the Event?
Benefits: The benefit to the Neolithic Revolution was the fact that the creation of agriculture has become real. Since the idea of agriculture was around, people started to live a whole different way. People had more surety of where they got the food. They also gained the benefits of being in a group such as, protection from predators, help with planting and harvesting, and the ability to share knowledge. An increase of population were benefiting factors to the revolution.
Drawbacks: The problem of weather for crop production was unpredictable. Drought, plant disease, and pests were also contributing factors to the drawbacks of the event. The depletion of soil and the safety of the environment was not understood by the early farmers. Diseases such as smallpox, cholera, influenza, and polio occurred because of a dense population.

Compared to the Von Thunen Model...
The Neolithic Revolution and the Von Thunen Model do not support each other. The revolution became before the model so, know one of that time would know of such an idea. Plus, they probably used trade rather than currency for the food so, they did not have to worry about which foods are more important than others.
